GA Step-Up Premium Stair Nosings with Super Grip Treads

A choice of anodised insert colours and additional profiles (with a 55mm front face) have now been added to our all aluminium ‘Premium’ range of Step-Up Stair Nosings.

These contemporary alloy nosings (with hidden fixings) combine a super-grip ridged insert (3 colour options) with a classic linear look.

Elegant and hard wearing these ‘invisibly fixed’ stair treads are beautifully finished in anodised aluminium. You can select from 3 anodised insert finishes and these are; silver, Anolok blue/grey and Anolok black.

With these original and all aluminium contemporary stair nosings there is a selection of back edge options, these can be combined with hard and soft flooring surfaces of different thicknesses.

Back edge detailing

Lipped
Normally used with resilient flooring and carpet.

Square
Normally used with materials having a compressed thickness of 5mm. A suitable bevelled underlay can be used to bring the flooring surface to the required height.

Hooked
Normally used with resilient flooring and carpet.

Fluted Tread Inserts - Independent test results:

GA Ano-Sil Anodised = Mean Slip Resistance value 74 (Dry)

GA Ano-Sil Anodised = Mean Slip Resistance value 45 (Wet)

Test results identified the anodised fluted pattern tread insert performing well in excess of the 36+ PTV reading for low slip potential in both dry and wet conditions. (BS 7976-2:2002).
